    Craig Strent has been originating mortgages since 1994.  Craig has been recognized numerous times by Mortgage Executive Magazine and other industry publications as one of the “Top 200 Loan Originators” in America. Craig holds the Certified Divorce Lending Professional designation for his expertise in working with individuals going through separation and divorce proceedings as well as the Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist designation for his expertise in working with Financial Advisors.  These two prestigious designations demonstrate Craig’s ongoing commitment to educating his clients and helping them craft customized mortgage solutions.  Craig has been through Mediation Training and is also Collaboratively trained.  Family law, mental health and financial professionals often bring Craig in to counsel on divorce matters and prepare detailed financing options during divorce proceedings. As a result of his expertise across multiple disciplines, Craig is often turned to by both the local and national media for commentary on the mortgage and housing markets.     He received a BSBA from the American University’s Kogod School of Business Administration. He lives in Bethesda, MD with his wife Amy, his boys Sammy & Ollie and his dogs Pavarotti & Butters. Craig loves playing and coaching hockey, traveling, hiking, and reading about history.
