For nearly 30 years, I have been helping clients resolve their Civil Disputes through Negotiation, Mediation, Collaborative Practice and, when necessary, Litigation. My Civil Collaborative Practice focuses on settling differences in businesses, real estate, employment, guardianships and wills, trusts and estates. I practice law in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia. I am a graduate of Randolph-Macon College, Ashland, Virginia and The George Mason University School of Law, Arlington, Virginia. Prior to entering private practice, I was in-house counsel for a national title insurance company and a federal savings bank. I am a lifelong resident of Montgomery County, Maryland having grown up on a farm in Poolesville where I still reside with my wife and children. I am involved in many civic enterprises including Boy Scouts of America, Knight of Columbus and Youth Religious Education Instructor.
