Kate Alcamo is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist with almost a decade of experience working with children and families. Kate is the owner of Family Therapy Center of Bethesda which provides therapeutic services to couples, children, families, and individuals in the Bethesda area. After 8 years providing therapy in a school based setting, Kate specializes in working with families and adolescents and helps them to improve communication, navigate the challenges of adolescence (e.g. peer relationships, school, identity, self esteem) and develop appropriate structure and boundaries at home.Divorce and separation can be extremely difficult on families, especially children. Kate believes that Collaborative Divorce can help families navigate this life transition in the healthiest way possible for all members involved.
